Hailing from Ahmedabad - Siyaahi is a 21-year-old rapper who started his journey in 2016 when he wrote lyrics to a random melody that his elder brother was playing on his guitar. He has a new school approach to his music and enjoys rapping to low-fi beats. Known only as Aniket Bhat before he took up his rap persona, Siyaahi belongs to a Kashmiri-origin family and has always felt a strong connection to his Kashmiri heritage.

A finalist of Red Bull Spotlight 2020, Siyaahi has been extremely active around the hip hop circuit of Ahmedabad and has worked with a lot of artists by organising shows, cyphers and other hip hop events in the city and Gujarat at large.

His four track EP explores his yearning for freedom and escape in contrasting settings. His first track "Introspection", is an attempt to question the deafening silence in face of ugly truths which the second track "Lost", duly compliments. "Lost" implores one's questions to oneself in the face of vulnerability and dilemma. It examines the young curiosity of finding oneself through one's own creative process. While the third track, "Baller", much like the name, goes on to show off his fiery words on the stage he now knows he was meant for. As the final track "Escape Route" lays out the blueprint of his yearning- 'Imma need an Escape Route, an Escape Plan'.
