Description
For us, music and hip hop have been a safe space, a place where we can express ourselves freely and find community in a world that often seeks to divide us. As two brands that have made this art form accessible to people around the world, MTV and Urban Monkey share a deep appreciation for the power of music to create real brotherhood & sisterhood, to break down barriers, and to build bridges between cultures and communities. In a diverse country like India, where the hip hop scene has grown beyond our wildest dreams, We want to celebrate the value of music and the impact that hip hop has created.
Music is my best friend.
