A bunch of young guns sit together writing day in and day out – verses, poetry, and their own truth. Meet Straight Up, a community collective formed in 2020, was co-founded by Maze 022 and Pravin Habib. Whilst these boys have gotten together only a few years ago, they have been part of the street community since the very beginning. The Straight Up collective’s only intention has been to promote the growth of all the artists under their wing and keep the culture real and the hustle alive. Their latest collaborative track ‘Aflatoon’ is very different from what the crew has been doing, with this track, straight up has moved out of their motivational raps and has entered the gangster hood, with sick beats and a lyrically heavy verse – they are ready to get started.
