Dhruv Sharma, also known as dhruvmarkk, is from Ghaziabad's UP-14 neighbourhood. He first became interested in hip hop in the seventh grade after discovering how much he adored the genre after listening to Indian and foreign hip hop albums. Despite originating from a lower middle class family and living in a crowded environment where artistic attempts are sometimes not taken seriously, Dhruv decided to follow his passion and began writing his own raps in 2017.

Recent songs from Dhruv underscores the need of supporting and recognising local musicians. Along with highlighting the artist's personal experiences in his native country, the song pays tribute to the entire Indian hip hop culture. Dhruv is inspired by the great artists who have come before him and is determined to contribute to the genre.

Although he is still a young artist, Dhruv has very high aspirations. His personal objectives are to strengthen the Indian hip hop culture and promote Indian hip hop abroad. He is currently working with a producer Abledio. He refers to as his younger brother, despite the fact that they just recently got to know one another. Despite this, the two have developed a strong bond. Thanks to his zeal and commitment, Dhruv Sharma is undeniably a rising star in the Indian hip hop scene.
